Tiffany Trump to attend Georgetown Law School in the fall

Tiffany Trump, the 23-year-old daughter of President Donald Trump, will be attending Georgetown Law School in the fall, a representative for the family confirmed.

She had previously toured Harvard Law School last December. But her chosen school is much closer to her father and half-sister Ivanka Trump. The law school is about a mile-and-a-half walk from the White House and is ranked 15 by U.S. News and World Report.

Tiffany Trump, the only child of Donald Trump and Marla Maples, graduated last spring from the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in sociology and urban studies. Trump has interned for Vogue (reportedly arranged by Ivanka), released a song called “Like a Bird,” and has done some modeling as well.

She’s given hints of her future education plans to her social media followers. Last year she posted a picture of her LSAT prep books with the phrase “I got this,” garnering more than 7,000 likes on Instagram.

Georgetown claims a number of Trump alumni connections. Eric Trump graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and management. Ivanka spent two years at Georgetown before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania.

Steve Bannon, Trump’s chief strategist and senior counselor, earned a master’s degree in national security studies from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service in 1983, while Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, now caught up in the Russia investigation, has both a bachelor’s and law degree from the Catholic and Jesuit school.

17. Y'know, she does have to be qualified enough to make it GLS.

She may have had to leverage daddy's money and position to get in with her grades like a lot of rich kids do, but she had to at least have the minimum GPA and pass the core classes in the first place. And she did apparently graduate from U of P (AA or BA?), instead of work a transfer mid-term.
The term "majoring" is a bit mis-leading; you can still "major" with 2-year associates degree depending on the combination of core classes and electives you select.
That she's going to Georgetown Law School instead of trying for a "Wharton MBA" like (cough, cough) her father did, or go the "instant heir" way her brainless step-bros are going indicates to me that at least she knows at some level her bread is not as buttered as her family likes to pretend it is and that the Jenga tower Empire that is the Drumpf brand is built on shifting debt and worthless paper.

As it is, even someone who graduated last at medical school is called "Doctor". And some of those low achievers eventually turn out to be halfway decent.

As long as she qualifies with the minimum that gets her at the doorstep, large sums of cash can get her the rest of the way through the door. If she graduates - even with a "gentleman's C" - well, good for her. Plenty of places will hire her as an intern or as staff, even if her father fails spectacularly on the National Stage.
If not...all those large sums of cash dropped to get her in and along as far as she is able to go can help pay the way for deserving students who can't otherwise afford Georgetown Law School, or to help pay for campus-provided services for the other students.
