White House spokesperson: 'Time to move on' from Russia probes
Source: The Hill
White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Tuesday that it was "time to move on" from the investigations into ties between Trump campaign officials and Russia, hours after the president fired FBI Director James Comey.
"I think the bigger point on that is, my gosh Tucker, when are they going to let that go? It's been going on for nearly a year," she said on Tucker Carlson's Fox News show. "Frankly, it's kind of getting absurd. There's nothing there. Weve heard that time and time again. Weve heard that in the testimonies earlier this week. We've heard it for the last 11 months. There is no there there.
"It's time to move on and frankly it's time to focus on the things the American people care about," she added.
Sanders, though, said she also believed Comey's firing would not impact the ongoing investigations.

(6,241 posts)for Benghazi? And there were 100's of efforts to find wrongdoing in that case, for absolutely nothing. Clinton wasn't held responsible because there was nothing there. Trump is thinking that if he just fires anyone that looks into it, it'll go away.
But, yeah, time to move on. He's such an ass and a hypocrite.

(9,426 posts)even sat answering questions for 11 hours, in front of the fools such as Gowdy and other gop clowns. tRump has not answered any Russian questions directly. This Sanders spokesperson is the daughter of Huckabee, the failed gop contender for the WH. Lard ass passed those genes to his kids, obviously. How many members of the gop have relatives employed by this administration? Several, including McConnelll's wife, McCain's wife is under consideration for a high position, too. The top of the heap is related to tRump, Ivanka, Kushner. Not an ounce of political experience between them. Biggest joke of all is Agent Orange whining "This job is harder than I thought it would be"

(7,394 posts)Thank god for their incompetence. Any one of us could have done a much better job.
But we wouldn't. And that's the point. Incompetents only succeed through illegal and unethical means. They got nothing else.

(9,426 posts)drop the Huckabee in her name? Originally, she was Sarah HUCKERBEE Sanders. Did daddy tell her to stop using his name, in case he is investigated? These family values repubs. are so predicable, aren't they? They would support Satan himself as long as he had an R behind his name.

(8,616 posts)Nothing, that is unless you consider 10 dead Russians mentioned in the dossier, 2 Grand Juries, 2 subpoenas (so far) to the Financial Crimes Unit of the Department of the Treasury no less, and (if you believe the twitterverse,) 9 indictments with another 16 coming soon. It would appear that 3 1/2 months in tRumpworld is equivalent to 4 years in Nixon years.
