Trump, Back on Twitter, Complains of 'Witch Hunt'
Source: New York Times
WASHINGTON President Trump lashed out Thursday at his predecessor, President Barack Obama, and his former campaign opponent, Hillary Clinton, complaining that what he called illegal acts committed during their time in office never led to the appointment of a special counsel. He complained that he was the target of a witch hunt.
The morning after Mr. Trumps Justice Department named Robert S. Mueller III, a former F.B.I. director, to investigate ties between the Trump campaign and Russian officials, Mr. Trump sent out a Twitter message making his case.
With all of the illegal acts that took place in the Clinton campaign & Obama Administration, there was never a special councel appointed, the message said, misspelling counsel. Moments later, Mr. Trump added, This is the greatest single witch hunt of a politician in American history!
The posts, shortly before 8 a.m., were a stark contrast to his muted reaction to the announcement of Mr. Muellers appointment on Wednesday evening.

Perp walk for all of them. Since he is only "working" with a 1/4 of a crew, I can't wait to see what Lyin' Cryn' Ryan.
The "witch hunt" was the relentless shit flung at Hillary Clinton. All those investigations, turning up NOTHING illegal.
In 45's case, it's less like a hunt and more like shooting fish in a barrel.

At least until we have control of The House.

I think they are deliberately keeping him in the dark about many of things going on the Whitehouse so he can have plausible deniability.
In this crazy world of ours anything can happen.

(9,426 posts)I thought one of his followers reasons for supporting him was because he was NOT a politician? This is not a witch hnt, but a hunt for the TRUTH. He has made this country a laughingstock. IF he goes overseas, there will be massive protests. He is reviled EVERYWHERE. So, he thinks Obama and Hillary broke laws, but were not investigated? Hah! So now he firmly believes he is a target, because he IS being investigated? Such a simpleton, but hey - the gop loves what he is doing and are giving him cover. They need to be investigated, too. I am astounded at the choices the gop makes for their presidential contenders. Are there no intelligent ADULTS in their party?

He still can't face reality that he LOST the popular vote, and that the election process was corrupted and tainted by a foreign state murderous actor, and other malfeasance of voter suppression in this country by so called "patriots" that make voting harder.
And he thinks in his bizarre world that it's Obama and Clinton's fault, did someone give him the big white mint out of the bathroom urinal to eat again............................. or did someone walk in while his small hands were under the table playing with himself again, to be a narcissistic ass**** jerk which he really is.

Here's a message for everyone who feel politics used to be more civil in the good old days. No, it wasn't. I post this picture every time someone at DU - and now, in a tweetstorm - says that politics has hit a new low.
Jefferson was one of the most detested presidents ever. People just loathed him. He was fortunate, though, to live in a time of complete civility in politics, so unlike today.
Well, maybe not.
Thomas Jefferson - The West
The prairie dog sickened at the sting of the hornet or a diplomatic puppet exhibiting his deceptions
James Akin's earliest-known signed cartoon, "The Prairie Dog" is an anti-Jefferson satire, relating to Jefferson's covert negotiations for the purchase of West Florida from Spain in 1804. Jefferson, as a scrawny dog, is stung by a hornet with Napoleon's head into coughing up "Two Millions" in gold coins, (the secret appropriation Jefferson sought from Congress for the purchase). On the right dances a man (possibly a French diplomat) with orders from French minister Talleyrand in his pocket and maps of East Florida and West Florida in his hand. He says, "A gull for the People."
