Trump cancels Iowa campaign rally

Source: The Hill

President Trump has canceled a campaign rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that was previously scheduled to be held next week.

“Due to an unfortunate change in President Trump’s schedule, we will need to unfortunately postpone the previously schedule rally in Cedar Rapids,” a statement from the Trump campaign read. “President Trump will see you in Iowa very soon.”

really tore the scab off a festering sore. Even though the tea baggers do all the things we are taught in school, civics and church not to do, they think they are the good guys. How did their brains get in such a twist? It isn't ok to be a bully. Or a racist. Or beat up people because there is one of him and 10 of you. All of that is shameful behavior and anyone who behaves that way is wrong.

This is the man who once bragged that he could make money off the presidency (paid speeches afterword--Clinton complaints aside-- are peanuts). The thing was, he expected to make the money from RUNNING for president. He didn't expect to be saddled with the actual, serious responsibilities. Now that he is, he and his family have gone into full scale "take the money and run" mode: grabbing as much as they can before the roof collapses and confident they will get away without jail terms. He was all set to start making money from his reelection campaign a few months into office, when things started to go sideways, although not as much as they should have. What has happened to the "emoluments" stuff?

How is he going to explain to the rubes in Iowa why their insurance premiums will go through the roof with Trump (could) Care (less). Or maybe he's afraid of the guns they will all want to bring to show their support for his racist policies and ties to Putin.

I'm actually with Michael Moore in believing that he's not going anywhere. The rethugs are not going to let that happen and they'll do anything and everything to maintain the status quo. Let's just all disabuse ourselves of the notion that he's going to be indicted, impeached and/or removed in an manner whatsoever. They've got a fully developed bunker mentality and it's probably best to gird ourselves.

IF we can re-take congress in any way, THEN we can start talking about impeachment, et al. I also want to make absolutely sure that Pence, & the rest of the dirty, lying POS republicans all pay in some way for their traitorous participation in all of this shit show. Only way to do that is let the IC & special council do their jobs. Hopefully following the money trail will get a fair number of these assholes in the end.
