Bullet damage suspected in Ky. newspaper vandalism

Lexington police are investigating vandalism at the Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper office, where several windows were broken or shattered Sunday.

There were suspected signs of small-caliber bullet damage, according to an article in the Herald-Leader.

The vandalization occurred at a time in which the press has become a frequent verbal target in Washington.

Their idea of freedom of the press is what you see in Mexico or Colombia: the press is free to investigate; but the investigated are free to kill them.
