GUILTY: Judge rules in former Sheriff Joe Arpaio's criminal contempt case

U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton on Monday found former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio guilty of criminal contempt of court, the culmination of a federal trial that was years in the making.

The six-term sheriff, who was voted out of office in November 2016, is known for, among other things, cracking down on illegal immigration and using controversial “crime suppression sweeps" to round up those suspected of being in the U.S. illegally. Those operations, which went on for years, are what landed him in court.

Although a judge ordered Arpaio to stop the traffic patrols that targeted immigrants, the self-styled “America’s toughest sheriff” did not. Arpaio continued to run those operations for nearly 18 months after that order.

Last May, Judge Murray Snow found Arpaio, now 85, and three of his top aides in civil contempt.

But that's my vengeful side that I don't let out of its cage unless I'm writing fiction. My better angels on their worst days are better than their evil on their best days.

He can have a medium security federal. GenPop. Same food, same lack of health care, same utter indifference that everyone else gets. Same shitty, pointless jobs for a few cents an hour. The longer one lives, one finds that karma is a bitch, that no one person is above the law, that the wheels of justice turn slowly but exceedingly fine. This bigot, racist, scum of a human being who wallows in hate has made it his career to harass, terrorize, and brutalize Mexican immigrants, and the Hispanic community based on the color of their our skin, ironically he hates, despises people for the very same color of skin he has-- brown. Given that Mexicans, Latinos, Spanish, Hispanic Americans and immigrants (however WE choose to identify as) come in all skin, eye and hair tones and color...so, if he couldn't harass based on the stereotypical racist images that he and other racistas portray us as including criminals ( images that you see of us in MSM,movies and the like; we love that we are a diverse people, any color-- its white-racist America who sees it as a negative we don't!) then by our surname; if you didn't have broken headlight, or some other minor way to stop you, he or his cabal make up anything ...he is a disgusting human being and I wish for him exactly what he did (or gave orders to do) to every single person he harassed beat and terrorized!

Sure trumpf may pardon him, might even given him a top notch job, perhaps Secretary of Homeland Security; yet he'd still be the evil hate filled bastard that he is, an awful excuse of a human on this planet.

He and republikkkans like him, including eltrumpf, remind me of the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Miserable, where the antagonist just can't let go of his hate, he engrossed, obsessed by it...it consumed him day and night. Hate like that cannot stand. These people, the entire kkkcabal of hate, are rabid. They hate the non white, non christian and their hate extends to policies and laws that harm us, individually, and as a community.
