I didnt dump the nachos on him: Chris Christie is okay with his handling of heckling fan

Source: Washington Post

Leave it to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) to get the last word in concerning his confrontation with a heckler at a baseball game over the weekend.

In a moment that was captured on video that went viral, Christie, toting a bowl of nachos, wheeled to face a Chicago Cubs fan who had said “you suck,” among other things, as Christie walked past him at Milwaukee’s Miller Park. Christie got into the man’s face and fired back, “you’re a real big shot.”

On Wednesday, the governor said that he let the fan, Brad Joseph, off lightly.

“For those of you who know me, I was very restrained,” Christie told reporters (via NJ.com) during a news conference in Trenton. “I didn’t dump the nachos on him or anything, which I think was an option.”

When he has a security team nearby! I wonder how tough he'll be,when he no longer has that team to keep him safe?

Let's see the jerk when he's all alone facing someone his own size with their own bowl of nachos.

Christie is a bully and I hope I live to see the day that someone takes his ass down!

If that had been me, Christie wouldn't have had to worry about dumping the nachos, because I would have pushed them back on him the moment he got in my face! Fuck that guy and his fake ass "tough guy" bs!

He said he didn't beat me, didn't cheat on me, someday I'd realize what a catch he was, that I'd let go.

Taking credit for not being violent seems really off.

She cheated on me a good bit, but claimed that she also passed up lots of opportunities to do so. It felt really off.

or just big, brave Governor Christie? As I recall, he's real tough with school teacher too when he has a mic and they don't.

Anyone else like to see someone smack the crap out of him? He's a crumb.

Sometimes I amaze myself, as I stared down my heckler adversary I almost saw the headline in the news. I would have reached out to grab it but, I quickly realized I was holding my nachos with hand the I use to grab headlines. Just like the prize in the cracker jack box my nachos delivered! And I'm still milking it !

the guy wasn't a cop who "feared for his life".

I think if I was that guy I would have grabbed a big handful of nachos, thanked him, and then asked him what he had to wash it down with.

The one with the thinnest of skin. He, too, never met an insult that he didn't squirrel away and take out of his pocket from time to time.
