President Trump on Thursday doubled down on his fire and fury warning to North Korea, suggesting any attack on Guam -- as threatened by Pyongyang -- would result in an unprecedented response from the U.S.
"Lets see what [Kim Jong Un] does with Guam. He does something in Guam, it will be an event the likes of which nobody has seen before what will happen in North Korea," Trump said.
At a separate appearance, Trump also pushed back against critics who suggested his comments earlier in the week were too forceful. Trump told reporters: Maybe it wasnt tough enough."
Theyve been doing this to our country for a long time, for many years, the president said of North Korea. Its about time that somebody stuck up for the people of this country and for the people of other countries. So if anything, that statement wasnt tough enough.

(10,997 posts)Imagine someone so emotionally unstable trying to play...all you'd have to do to him would be make an off-hand comment about the size of his hands and he would come undone like a cheap suit. That emotional basket case could not run a successful bluff to save Ivanka's ass, and we are all too well aware of just how much he likes THAT...
I just wish the Intel / Spook community would simply decide its time and "move on him like a bitch", to borrow the vernacular of POTUS in words he might understand...only I truly hope they "get there" as well...is that statement tough enough El Guapo?
