Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Friday afternoon that President Donald Trump would announce his decision concerning the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) on Tuesday, Sept. 5 the deadline that 10 Republican attorneys general set for Trump before they promised to sue the government to end the program.
Earlier Friday, Trump said he would announce his decision on DACA over the weekend. Later, he said the decision would come Monday at latest.
I just spoke with the President, and were in the process of finalizing that decision and those details and were actually going to make that announcement on Tuesday of next week, she said.
The Presidents priorities on immigration are to create a system that encourages legal immigration and benefits our economy and American workers, she added.

(16,104 posts)Trump is just reversing what the previous president(s) did tweaking the Immigration Law with Executive Orders.
While Obama, for instance, had no choice considering Republican obstruction for 6 plus years, we need to understand nothing a president does alone is final!
We need a Democratic Congress to do its job and a Democratic president to sign off!

(28,836 posts).. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends the DACA program.
However, it will end up being extremely unpopular, so
I'm hoping he won't.

(2,646 posts)That decision was reached long ago. It's from Obama, so it will be ended.
That's the only thing this POS in the W.H. knows how to do, end all of Obama's programs.
He's just a spiteful, snot-nosed, spoiled brat with a single-digit IQ.
