The wife of Israel's prime minister is being indicted over spending irregularities to the sum of over $100,000 at the prime minister's residence

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit announced Friday that the prime minister's wife, Sara Netanyahu, will be indicted for fraud over spending irregularities at the prime minister's residence. The indictment is subject to a future hearing, the date of which is as yet unannounced.

Sara Netanyahu is suspected of excessive spending at the prime minister’s official residence. The charges include using state funds for ordering dining and catering services, and later concealing the fact that she did so. She and her husband have accused former chief caretaker of the official residence Meni Naftali of inflating the residence’s expenses.

The case has been under investigation for over two years, since State Comptroller Joseph Shapira issued a report on excessive spending at the Netanyahus' official residence.

Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on his Facebook page on behalf of his family on Thursday that the claims "are absurd and will be proven to be baseless. Sara Netanyahu is a brave and honest woman and has never done anything wrong. Alongside her work as an expert educational psychologist treating children every week, she spends a lot of time helping children with cancer, Holocaust survivors and lone soldiers."

11. Soros and Reptilians Controlling the World: Yair Netanyahu Posts Meme Rife With anti-Semitic Themes

Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, posted an image on his Facebook page Saturday that seems to suggest a conspiracy is behind his family’s growing legal problems. The meme is laden with anti-Semitic imagery.

The meme, captioned "the food chain," features a photo of George Soros dangling the world in front of a reptilian creature, who dangles an alchemy symbol in front of a caricature of a figure reminiscent of the anti-Semitic “happy merchant” image.

The other figures in the chain are former Prime Minister Ehud Barak, anti-Netanyahu protest leader Eldad Yaniv and Meni Naftali, a former chief caretaker at the Netanyahus’ official residence who implicated Sara Netanyahu in the case she is being indicted in.

David Duke, a former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, tweeted the following in an apparent show of support for Yair Netanyahu:

It’s quite a moment. Last month Benjamin Netanyahu’s son Yair said that the the Antifa and BLM “thugs” at Charlottesville were a bigger threat than the Nazis and alt-righters. Now he’s gone all in and posted an actual anti-Semitic meme on Facebook.
