Pope Francis: If Trump is 'pro-life' he wouldn't end DACA

Source: The Hill

BY JACQUELINE THOMSEN - 09/11/17 10:05 AM EDT

Pope Francis said that President Trump should reconsider his decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program if he considers himself to be “pro-life.”

"The President of the United States presents himself as pro-life and if he is a good pro-lifer, he understands that family is the cradle of life and its unity must be protected," Francis said, according to CNN. Francis made the comments during a press conference Monday as he returned from a trip to Colombia, where he had called for others to defend the rights of immigrants.

The pope said he was unfamiliar with the specifics of the program, but that he hoped Trump could reverse his decision to end the protections that prevent the deportation of undocumented immigrants that were brought to the U.S. as minors.

"I think this law comes not from parliament but from the executive," Francis said. "If that is so, I am hopeful that it will be re-thought."

If he was pro-fetus, he would want to fund Obamacare and pre-natal care, which he doesn't.

"Saving" a fetus doesn't matter if you can't afford healthcare.

A pro-life Catholic is pro-conception to grave.

A pro-life US right winger stops caring about you the instant your feet touch air.

George Carlin put it best..."if you're preborn you're fine, if you're preschool you're fucked."

Life, the life given to us all, from conception to the repose of that life, whenever that occurs, is sacred.

However, stuff happens whether brought on by this world not as yet 'renewed' or by human actions. Then, repentance is the next gift offered after salvation.

Just sayin' our what Faith holds.

You may say I am pro-choice yet opposed to abortion.

I hate death. Of any kind.

The anti-abortion wing nuts don't give a shit about actual life, let alone quality of life.
