Ivankas reasons for not publicly disagreeing with her dad

Source: Axios

Ivanka Trump gave three in-person interviews to the Financial Times for this weekend's edition:

On her ability to change her father's policies: "Some people have created unrealistic expectations of what they expect from me. That my presence in and of itself would carry so much weight with my father that he would abandon his core values ... It's not going to happen."

On why she so rarely publicly criticizes her father: "To voice dissent publicly would mean I'm not part of the team. When you're part of a team, you're part of a team."

So far she and Jared "haven't felt much of a chill" in the liberal New York circles they ran in before the campaign. They know that friends who are happy to trash Ivanka anonymously in newspapers are usually not gutsy enough to do it to her face.

there is usually something abnormal going on.

Didn't the Donald once say about Ivanka, "If she weren't my daughter, I would be dating her"? Or referring to her on the Howard Stern Show as a "great piece of ass" while she was sitting right next to him? Go figure, folks.

My dad was from Northern Alabama and even a few days before he died referred to his parents as Mama and Daddy.

If she was from the South it wouldn't bother me - but being raised in the north east myself? It's really odd. You know? It's like - it's creepy when not said like 'da-dah'.

My "Daddy" never acted like that!!! LOL

There is something gross about Trump's infatuation with Ivanka, and something wrong with the fact that the adult Ivanka doesn't put a stop to it.

Then she deserves every bit of criticism she's currently receiving for abandoning her personal beliefs in service to daddy.

Because all I've seen are the same ones that her father inculcated.

I was really interested to read (in another article) that in the WH she is considered ruthless. I guess that's another core value.

It's the same two words for Jr. and Eric.

I read the contract for the DC hotel, and two words followed thre three kids' names: Revokable Trust. Knowing that Daddy can reclaim your money at any moment really makes you behave, I guess.

Sorry for the typos. Can't find my glasses.

being interviewed as often as this one? Being given a job in the WH, that she is totally unqualified for, like her Daddy? I have seen all I want to see, or can stomach, of that Botoxed face with the chipmunk cheeks. Go home, raise your kids before they start calling their nannies Mommy. Surely there are other designer's fashions she could steal? Maybe she has to stay close to daddy, to make sure he does not alter his will? I thought she and her "smart kid" husband were wealthy in their own right? Her husband is SO smart, his daddy had to buy him a opening at Harvard, since his grades were not good enough. Now he is running the country!!

that if Hillary had been (allowed to be) president and Chelsea had done 0.0001% of what iwanna does in terms of being an "advisor", Federal employee, going on foreign trips as an official U.S. representative, etc, etc. etc. the RWNJs and their propaganda factory would have exploded.

The hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance are staggering.
