McMaster: Trump Open To Reentering Paris Accord To Advance US 'Prosperity'

Source: Talking Points Memo

By ESME CRIBB Published SEPTEMBER 17, 2017 10:17 AM

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster on Sunday said President Donald Trump would reconsider withdrawing the United States from the Paris climate agreement if it included “an agreement that benefits the American people.”

On “Fox News Sunday,” however, McMaster pushed back on suggestions that Trump could reverse his position on the agreement. “It’s false. That’s a false report,” McMaster said.

“He left the door open to reentering at some later time if there can be a better deal for the United States,” McMaster said on ABC’s “This Week” of Trump’s withdrawal from the climate agreement.

“Of course he’s open to any discussions that will help us improve the environment, that will help us ensure energy security and will advance our prosperity,” he added. “If there’s an agreement that benefits the American people, certainly.”

Don't trust McMaster because if he was decent, he wouldn't be working for the traitorous criminal.

He sees everything as a deal.

If the other countries pay him, he is in.

This is exactly why India signed, they got a sweet deal.

6. There is a huge lie under lying everything he said - the US

always had and has the ability to change its VOLUNTARY pledge. That fact makes it a total lie that they had to get out as it was a bad deal for the US.

The move to get out was TOTALLY politics for the Trump base. However, what he REALLY succeeded in doing was withdrawing the US leadership role on this and also impacting it on everything else.

7. Yes, Trump is looking for an opportunity to rejoin the Paris talks, provided he can

use his lies, misrepresentations, and personal interests to blow the talks off-course and delay their progress. Not a good idea for the members of the Paris talks to tolerate any bull shit by Trump or the people he sends to "represent" USA.

That becoming a clean energy leader would be a boon to American jobs, it would be a big win for him, and make Hillary voters "love Trump".
