[W]ere very different people, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said, stating a plainly obvious fact about himself and President Donald Trump. Different upbringing. Different life experiences.
Life experiences dont get much different than those of the Vietnam POW and the Manhattan-based real estate mogul. In an interview on 60 Minutes Sunday, McCain spelled out those differences further.
He is in the business of making money, McCain said. And he has been successful both in television as well as Miss America and others. I was raised in a military family. Just one more instance of how the bad decisions of the GOP are ruining people's lives and careers.
I have no love for John McCain, but I sympathize that his party has treated him poorly and they'll never apologize or make up for it.
