Report: Steve Bannon Looked to Plant a Facebook Mole

Steve Bannon attempted to infiltrate Facebook’s job application process with moles, BuzzFeed reported on Monday. According to emails between Bannon and former congressional staffer Chris Gacek, who now lobbies against abortion and LGBTQ rights at the Family Research Council, the two discussed a plan for Breitbart News to “flood” an open position for a Public Policy Manager in Facebook’s WhatsApp division with “candidates of all stripe who will report back to you/ [former Breitbart News Tech Editor] Milo [Yiannopoulos] with INTEL about the job application process over at FB.” Bannon forwarded the email to Yiannopoulos and asked him to “get on this,” though it is unclear whether the plan was ever executed.

this is like flooding small town politics by seeding both parties with your own candidates.

Not that it's not done on a regular basis
