President Donald Trumps warnings and threats directed towards North Korea constitute a declaration of war, the repressive communist states foreign minister said Monday.
Last weekend, Trump claimed that our leadership wouldnt be around much longer, and hence, at last, he declared war on our country, North Korean foreign minister Ri Yong Ho said in New York Monday. Given the fact that this comes from someone that is currently holding the seat of the united states presidency, this is clearly a declaration of war.
Trump has met North Koreas recent campaign of ballistic missile and nuclear device tests with harsh rhetoric, pledging never to allow the regime of Kim Jong Un to obtain a nuclear weapon capable of striking the continental U.S. and pointedly refusing to take military action off the table.
He devoted much of his speech at last week's United Nations General Assembly to warning North Korea that the U.S. would totally destroy the country if necessary.

Hence the ever-present threat of a US-invasion they love to bring up.
And now, all of a sudden, the US is supposed to declare war on NK. The NK-regime got its own propaganda mixed up.

The US has also done something similar in the past where our military does flyover exercises nearby until the one day it is a real attack and catch them by surprise.

(12,646 posts)As it is, Drumpf's idea of war comes from video games and movies. Wars are all solved in a few hours with a couple big guns, some magical technology, and a plucky and handsome hero leading his grizzled band of misfits to capture the evil leader and save the world.
Notice how the cause d'jour is no longer anything to do with the UN or anything that happens "over there" - wherever "over there" may be. He's not interested in anything that's real and difficult. He needs opponents that he can change the channel on whenever he starts losing attention.
He's all about dumbing down a made up crisis to appeal to what he thinks is his base for better ratings and his personal ego-boo. And sticking it to a soft target.
