That's all so far.
I wonder if he's going to still pay up for his "seat"?

https://www.propublica.org/article/preet-bharara-fired-investigating-tom-price-hhs-stock-trading
In one case, Price was one of just a handful of American investors allowed to buy discounted stock in Innate Immunotherapeutics a tiny Australian company working on an experimental multiple sclerosis drug. The company hoped to be granted investigational new drug status from the Food and Drug Administration, a designation that expedites the approval process.
Members of congress often try to apply pressure on the FDA. As ProPublica has reported, Prices office has taken up the causes of health care companies, and in one case urged a government agency to remove a damaging drug study on behalf of a pharmaceutical company whose CEO donated to Prices campaign.

(14,334 posts)if Price is facing indictment over his stock trade, and this whole thing was leaked to usher him out before he sullies this immaculate administration. Based on nothing, just a suspicion. It seemed orchestrated. Very effective and quick.

Someone in HHS dropped the dime on Price. It might have been someone who processes the travel requests, or maybe it was someone who keeps track of the motor pool. Whoever it was, he or she takes the Blue/Orange/Silver Line to work every day and has done so for years (well, not the Silver Line) and puts in a forty-hour work week. He or she was sufficiently ticked off to spill the beans and call Politico.
Hat tip to you, conscientious worker! And to you too, Politico, for digging into this.
Well done, good and faithful {civil} servant.

(32,791 posts)DU (or somebody neutral) should set up an anonymous leakers' website.
Sort of like what Wikileaks tried to be before they turned into paid Russian trolls.
But honest hard-working government employees are sick of what's going on, as much as the rest of us.
They don't want to be fired from their jobs but they do want people to know about this stuff.
I hope there's a way they can leak stories about their a-hole bosses and not get into trouble.

(62,460 posts)the travel expenses are a convenient excuse.
If the other 2 get fired over travel expenses (Zinke and Pruitt) then I was wrong. But I don't look for it.
Trump has to blame someone for any failure of his because Trump himself never fails. So Price was the fall guy this time.
