Trump has not begun implementing Russia sanctions law: senators

Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Two months after signing it, President Donald Trump has not begun enforcing a law imposing new sanctions on Russia, Iran and North Korea, Senators John McCain and Ben Cardin said in a letter seen by Reuters on Friday.

And with just two days to go, his administration has not provided information related to Russia’s defense and intelligence sectors required under the measure by Sunday, they said.

White House officials did not respond to a request for comment on the letter from McCain, the Republican chairman of the Armed Services Committee, and Cardin, the ranking Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee.

Trump grudgingly signed the “Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act” on Aug. 2 after Congress overwhelmingly approved the measure despite Trump’s reservations about how it might affect his desire for improved relations with Moscow.

At this point, what does he care?
He knows Mueller is on to him.
His life is all about him, so he doesn't give a frock about what happens to the U.S.—as long as he can have his money.

sits in the WH. Elected by propaganda, hacking and fraud with the help of a hostile foreign adversary and a political party that puts itself above the welfare of our Country. If Mueller or our lawmakers don't act soon, I fear the consequences will be immense.

It's a LexisNexis product to check customers against OFAC, BIS, ITAR etc etc lists.

And - everyone I know who does my type of work . . . In the past week, maybe 7 business days. . .has had to refresh training on foreign bribery in the global commerce community.

Interesting times.

Too busy enacting Putin's wish list - and sticking Kremlin lawyers in key law enforcement posts (Wray at FBI, and now Benczkowski at Justice Dept. Criminal Div.).

Who will or can enforce a law upon the Executive branch?

This is yet another impeachable offense. He will be in Contempt of Congress. But with a majority of Congress being controlled by wealthy RW capitalists and a good portion of voters totally brainwashed, what can be done?
