Laura Ingraham: 'Romney's losing'

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Tx4obama (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: Politico

If the election were held today, Mitt Romney would lose. This is especially vexing when we have survey after survey showing that two-thirds of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction. This is especially disconcerting when you see the numbers that came out yesterday on the voters’ confidence in America’s future: an overwhelming majority of Americans think America now is in decline and that their children’s future will not be as bright as their own. Forty-two months straight of over 8 percent unemployment.

How bout Republidorks? No? Too soon?

I think this is relevant:

Lieutenant Charles Pizer: We'd be better off without you and Maximilian trying to knock heads.
V.I.N.CENT: I can handle that thing.
Lieutenant Charles Pizer: Well, far be it from you to admit there isn't anything you can't handle.
V.I.N.CENT: There are three basic types, Mr. Pizer: the Wills, the Won'ts, and the Can'ts. The Wills accomplish everything, the Won'ts oppose everything, and the Can'ts won't try anything.

The Wills (Democrats: When they actually fight for something), The Won'ts (Republicans: Currently in office and Governors) and The Cant's (The Republicans Tea Party)

"This is especially vexing when we have survey after survey showing that two-thirds of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction".

It really makes me mad when Repukes try to spin this survey tidbit to their advantage. The question asked in this 'survey' was too broad and vague. I too think the country is headed in the wrong direction, but not because of anything the Democrats or the Obama administration has done. My biggest concerns are: the shrinking middle class, the ridiculous cost of higher education, a tax code rigged in favor of the wealthy and influential, too much $$$ spent on defense instead of our own citizens, etc, etc, etc.

Of course many of us don't like the direction the country is headed, but I blame the Republicans, and I believe most Democrats and Independents feel the same way!!!

Fri Aug 10, 2012, 03:31 PM

"because it interferes with the parent's control of children" as per Texan Republicans and other Republicans.

When I read that Texas textbooks are printing that the Loch Lomond monster is real, I believe that American children will be losing out in competing in the future with the rest of the world

America is choosing the wrong path downhill to nowhere, if it chooses the Republican path.

It is such a shame. To think that America once sent man to the moon....I can not believe what I am seeing happening.

When my American brother, NJ Bubba, says he is PROUD to not know anything about the world, I can not have hope for America. The book THE REPUBLICAN BRAIN does explain it but I am hoping that Americans like those on DU will be able to pull America back onto the right path that is greatness it was once on.
