Virginia Republican Candidate Says Democrats Are Communists and Crackheads

A prominent Republican candidate for Senate in Virginia called Democrats the party of “criminals, communists, crackheads, and weirdos” at a get-out-the-vote rally on Sunday—and mocked a transgender candidate for good measure.
The comments from Corey Stewart, who narrowly lost the Republican gubernatorial primary to Ed Gillespie this summer and is now running for US Senate, came at a rally at a Virginia Beach church to galvanize Republican voters ahead of the election for governor just nine days away. Gillespie had declined an invitation to attend the rally, which was sponsored by the national group Bikers for Trump. But Stewart was joined by one member of the Republican ticket, state Sen. Jill Vogel, who is running for lieutenant governor; the other Republican on the slate, attorney general candidate John Adams, was a last-minute cancellation.

He called his primary opponent—a man he once derided as “Establishment Ed” and a “cuckservative”—”a good solid Republican,” and later praised him for embracing the Lost Cause as a campaign issue. “I’ve got to hand it to Ed Gillespie, he has come out and said we are going to clarify that law in Virginia and make sure that no more historical monuments—especially those to our great veterans—are removed, anywhere,” Stewart said. <snip>

It appears to me as a last ditch effort to fire up the base for Gillespie. But, really??? Gillespie cut a deal with this guy?
When will these people come to their senses and realize that the civil war was fought over 150 years ago. IT'S OVER!!!! The south fired the first shots on Fort Sumter on April 12, 1861. They started the war and lost. Those who they wish to "memorialize" are yes, traitors to the United States, having fought for the secessionists.

Republicans know the definition of those words. They throw them around enough, that's for sure, but they misuse them in so many circumstances. Case in point, Trump's pals - the Nazis - calling Liberals "fascists". 
All they need do is look in any mirror to see what a real fascist looks like.

On Sunday night, Trump-style populist Corey Stewart blasted Democrats, saying every one of them fits into one of four basic categories: “Criminals, communists, crackheads and weirdos.”
Stewart then lashed out at Danica Roem, a Democratic transgender candidate for the House, whom he referred to as a “weirdo.” In remarks reported by the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Stewart said Roem wants to “teach ‘transgenderism’ in kindergarten — kindergartners! Folks, this is what’s coming. This is the war on our culture.”
He also called Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring, a Democrat up for re-election, a “schmuck” and a “scumbag.”
Stewart made these comments at a Bikers for Trump rally as part of an effort to get out the vote and support the ticket for the Virginia governor’s race on Nov. 7....................................................

“So that’s who the Democrats honor: crackheads,” Stewart told the crowd in an auditorium that was decorated with signs saying “Hillary Clinton for prison in 2018.”
“Who do we honor?” Stewart asked. “Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, J.E.B. Stuart, James Madison, George Washington ― all the great heroes. The weirdos are taking down those monuments.”........................................
