Trump Faults Chuck Schumer for NYC Terror Attack
Source: The Daily Beast
President Trump on Wednesday seemingly blamed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for suspected NYC terrorist Sayfullo Saipovs entry into the United States. The terrorist came into our country through what is called the Diversity Visa Lottery Program, a Chuck Schumer beauty. I want merit based, the president wrote on Twitter. Saipov is an Uzbekistan national who came to the U.S. in 2010 and reportedly lived in Florida for some time before moving to New Jersey. The 29-year-old allegedly drove a rented truck down a bike path in Lower Manhattan for nearly a mile, killing eight people before being apprehended by police. We are fighting hard for Merit Based immigration, no more Democrat Lottery Systems. We must get MUCH tougher (and smarter), the president added moments after his initial tweet, tagging Fox & Friends, his favorite right-wing gabfest that had just discussed the visa program moments before his tweets. [Saipov] came in through the diversity visa program, which, back in 1990, when the 1990 Immigration Act was going through Congress, turns out Chuck Schumer attached his bill, this diversity visa program to this, host Steve Doocy said.

(964 posts)Can we point to his administration and say we want "merit based" competent people too? Here's his chance to lay the blame on his critic, Chuck Schumer. Let's just forget about the thousands of good, hard-working people who passed through the program and show how the world how this one bad immigrant is why the system failed so that we can deport more people and make Chuck look bad too. He is so vile.
