Russia funded Facebook and Twitter investments through Kushner associate
Source: The Guardian
Two Russian state institutions with close ties to Vladimir Putin funded substantial investments in Twitter and Facebook through a business associate of Jared Kushner, leaked documents reveal.
The investments were made through a Russian technology magnate, Yuri Milner, who also holds a stake in a company co-owned by Kushner, Donald Trumps son-in-law and senior White House adviser.
The discovery is likely to stir concerns over Russian influence in US politics and the role played by social media in last years presidential election. It may also raise new questions for the social media companies and for Kushner.

Mueller just got a lot of new material to work with.
More suspects, more evidence. The investigation should be long.
And Facebook asks Twitter need to be watched closely.

(9,426 posts)atill have a job in the administration, since he lied to get high security clearance. Clear violation of the rules. Imagine ANYTHING like this in an Obama or Clinton administration? The gop would have half a dozen "committees" in place, all vying to get their faces on TV.

No one in the Trump administration gives a hoot about rules or laws. They believe they're completely above the law. They'll continue to break the law right up until the steel bars go clank in prison, and then they'll break as many laws as they can over the phone and in letters. They cannot exist within the law. That's part of their psychosis.
