Boris Johnson praises Donald Trump as a 'great global brand' in supportive Fox News interview

Boris Johnson has praised Donald Trump’s tweeting and called him one of the “great global brands” in a supportive interview on American television.

The Foreign Secretary told Fox News – Mr Trump’s favourite cable network – that he was penetrating the “global consciousness” more than many previous presidents.

Mr Johnson said that while some were frustrated with Mr Trump’s “rambunctious” tweeting, it was an effective method of communication.

The supportive intervention comes at a time when Mr Trump has the approval of just one in three Americans and is dogged by party splits and an investigation into his campaign’s Russia links.

Now the Brits are desperate for a bilateral trade deal with the US to compensate for the economic disaster of leaving the EU. So stupid Boris must now kiss the Dotard's ass.

I'm pretty sure that Johnson shares 'certain' views with him. When the Obamas made their last official trip to the UK, PBO made remarks about the then-upcoming Brexit vote, in response to a question. Then Mayor of London, Johnson noted in an op-ed piece in one of the local papers that the Brits didn't need advice from a 'part-Kenyan president'. POS.

That's referenced in the video, along with the president's reply. If you don't to see the first minute of cuteness, skip to about 1:07.

I seem to recall the rightwingers lamenting the Obamas' supposed lack of protocol regarding QE2, and that he decided to replace a bust of Winston Churchill in the Oval Office with ones of President Lincoln and Dr. King. They were sure that he hated the queen because his father was from Kenya. That would be the queen who drove out to personally meet the Obamas as their helicopter landed on a Windsor Castle, and simply had them drive back to the castle in her car with Prince Phillip doing the driving.
