Poll: 37 percent of Alabama evangelicals more likely to vote for Moore after allegations

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by muriel_volestrangler (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: The Hill

"Nearly 40 percent of Alabama evangelicals said in a new poll that they are more likely to vote for GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore following allegations of sexual misconduct against him."

It's pretty scary when 4 out of 10 people get more excited to vote for someone when there are sex scandals involving minors.

without sin, and forgiveness is a blessed thing.

That would normally be good thing, except usually the sinner has to be repentant. Unless, of course, they believe he is such a godly man that he would not do such a thing.

Faith is a strange thing.

Fewer evangelicals are voting for him vs. the overall population.

Many of these bible thumpers are nothing but hypocrites anyway. I'd expect nothing less from these slack-jawed, mouth-breathing, booger-eating, morons.

And that's about the kindest thing I have to say about them.

If a man can marry a girl that young before she has been set in her ways he can train her to be a dutiful wife to her husband.
That's the system that evangelicals really want to bring back.
