Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Roy Moore, the GOP candidate for Senate in Alabama, "should step aside."

McConnell says he believes the women quoted in a Washington Post story.

They will reflexively do what McConnell does not want them to do. The Repubs down here that I know are a very stubborn lot who dislike outsiders interfering in their business.....even if it is to their detriment. By outsiders, I mean anyone outside the state, or inside the state that moved there recently, say in the last 30 years. Not saying all of them are like this, but enough to swing the election to Moore.

If so they'll be able to distance themselves quickly. Which is becoming a popular pastime for them now.

To not recognize Moore if he is elected? As in no committee assignments, censure, etc.
