FBI agents fire back at Trump: Saying we're not dedicated is 'simply false'

Source: The Hill

The head of FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) fired back at President Trump’s comments against the bureau on Sunday, saying any suggestion that agents aren’t dedicated to their jobs “is simply false.”

“Every day, FBI Special Agents put their lives on the line to protect the American public from national security and criminal threats. Agents perform these duties with unwavering integrity and professionalism and a focus on complying with the law and the Constitution,” FBIAA head Thomas O’Connor said in a statement.

”This is why the FBI continues to be the premier law enforcement agency in the world. FBI Agents are dedicated to their mission; suggesting otherwise is simply false.”

Trump tweeted earlier Sunday that the FBI’s reputation was in “tatters” after being lead by former FBI Director James Comey, whom Trump fired in May.

It's the fact that he is operating in the same way that he has always operated for over 45 years, where he has yet to suffer any consequences for it. During that time, he has been "under investigation" for all sorts of malfeasance related to his real estate holdings, casinos, businesses (see "Trump University" ), and fake "charities" - much of this resulting in 6 bankruptcies, where contracts were never honored... And all he had to do was threaten to sue, forcing the other side to drop their cases, or settle.

That's a long streak and he's gonna let it ride because why change?

in the Buddhist sense of ignorance and being under delusions, unable to see clearly. Not in the sense of low IQ. His delusions include thinking that the world revolves around him, that his lies don't matter and can't be found out, that he cannot foresee the consequences of his actions, that he is better and more important than everyone else, that amassing money is all that matters, inability to communicate clearly, inability to focus mentally, lack of patience and compassion. I could go on, but you probably get the point. In Buddhism the 3 main mental poisons are ignorance, greed, and hatred, but ignorance is the main problem with greed and hatred being different ways to be ignorant. Trump is a very sick guy.

where he is sincerely ignorant due to the delusions of grandeur that have been self-reinforced over many decades, and he let "others" handle it.

One can point to the MLK quote where he posits that true stupidity requires that one work at it, although both types are dangerous -

Drumpf's lawyers and all the people in his circle ARE the ones who are conscientiously stupid.

It is the belief that the ego, the sense of self, is a real self-existent solid thing, and that is a delusion, ignorance. I don't want to get into the weeds about Buddhist psychology and epistomology. Suffice it to say that Trump has a lot of mental problems that he will never admit to. We need a better way of relieving an incapable person of presidential duties.

The FBI is handling this as best as witnes cooperation permits.

However, let us not get all butterflies and unicorns that the FBI has operated with “unwavering integrity” throughout it’s history.

I’m not going to get all cop apologist over this one...
