McConnell: 'No change of heart' on Roy Moore

Source: The Hill

BY JORDAIN CARNEY - 12/05/17 02:40 PM EST

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) insisted on Tuesday that he has not changed his position on Roy Moore, after saying over the weekend that Alabama voters would decide if the Republican nominee joins the Senate.

"There's been no change of heart. I had hoped earlier he would withdraw as a candidate. That obviously is not going to happen," McConnell told reporters, saying he has made his position on Moore "perfectly clear."

McConnell came under fire over the weekend after he told ABC News's "This Week" that he would "let the people of Alabama make the call" on Moore joining the Senate.McConnell added on Tuesday that Republicans will have "no option" but to seat Moore if he wins, citing a 1960's Supreme Court case.

The Supreme Court ruled in Powell v. McCormack that while the Constitution gives Congress the ability to punish members for "disorderly" behavior, it couldn't use an exclusion vote to refuse to seat a member who was legally elected.

according to our constitution it is against the law to "seat" a person even if elected if e has performed acts of sedition or acts against the constitution like ordering elected officials to ignore federal laws, or getting thrown off the judicial bench for refusing to take down religious monuments. The MSM is focusing on his sexual misconduct to avoid the real problem with him getting elected...he cannot be seated according to law. Get the word out. He ordered probate judges not to obey the constitution. He is a constitutional criminal and as part of the 14 amendment a constitutional criminal cannot be seated even if elected. McConnell saying he would be seated makes him a co-conspirator as a constitutional criminal cannot be seated according to the 14th amendment. Women should vote against him as he wrote in his op-ed for his class that women should not be allowed to vote. We cannot Make America America again if we keep allowing hypocrites like Moore to get elected. Read the 3rd part of the 14 Amendment because McConnell certainly hasn't read it.

How can he POSSIBLY run on his record? He was debarred TWICE for constitutional infractions. Sure they were things that Alabamans think are wrong, but that's not their call if they still want to be in the USA under the Constitution. He's not a good lawyer, he's not a good judge, he's not a good politician, and he's not even remotely a good person, but he'll help them get a right winger on SCOTUS to overturn Roe v. Wade so they can further oppress women, so, let the child molesting Constitution contravening twice failed judge sit on the Senate because as Republicans we have no principles or integrity whatsoever.

Meaning no one has offered him a bigger, better bribe and none of his owners/handlers have ordered him to have a change of heart. Just as well, I suppose, sine a heartless bastard can't possibly have a change of heart.
