Aftershocks detected after North Korea nuclear test moved Earth's crust

Source: Guardian

Sunday 10 December 2017 02.13 GMT

Two minor tremors were detected on Saturday from North Korea were probably aftershocks from the country’s massive nuclear test in early September, a US Geological Survey official said.

The aftershocks were magnitude 2.9 and 2.4, said the USGS and Lassina Zerbo, executive secretary of the Vienna-based Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.

A tweet from Zerbo said analysts had confirmed the activity was “tectonic” in origin.

“They’re probably relaxation events from the sixth nuclear test,” the official said. “When you have a large nuclear test, it moves the Earth’s crust around the area, and it takes a while for it to fully subside. We’ve had a few of them since the sixth nuclear test.“

Either them, or the Aliens.

I'm sure most of the North Korean military - and just about everyone else in that long-suffering place - would be most grateful.

...had his older brother offed. He was China's and Russia's Ace in the hole, they probably aren't too pleased with him and do want him out....but, they don't want US military assets parked on their border in Asia either. So they are willing to put up with him for the time being....that is, until another solution presents itself. Have to think, they are courting Kim's sister as one, preparing one of his brothers sons once they are old enough or the most drastic and brazen, a body double of his brother and state his death was all "staged" so they could get Kim off his trail.

...the shit hits the fan and everyone is wondering "What happened?"

A few months back, both China and Russia, almost simultaneously, moved military assets to the North Korean border. Officially, it was stated that it was to prevent a mass exodus of refugee's fleeing into their nations should the USA and South Korea attacked North Korea. But we all know its BS, why would you need tanks to stop refugees? Not too long ago, Russia staged a marine beach landing near the North Korean border. And lets not ignore that we have three carrier groups near North Korea and a Senator saying families of US personal should leave South Korea...who knows whats being said quietly.

Given that South Korea is hosting the Winter Olympics, doubt anything happens, despite the last few having military operations launched...even while the opening ceremonies were happening. If anything happens, probably will involve Ukraine..but I've been wrong before...who knows, just speculation, was getting Russia banned from the Olympics intentional by Putin?

But lets get real, there are only three reasons China and Russia are massing military assets at the border;

1. They plan to take down the government themselves and install a more "receptive government"

2. They know the US plans to have the government "decapitated" and will move in to stabilize the government once it happens.

3. This goes along with two, telling the US "don't try it" and if you do, we still retain control.

I'm leaning towards number three currently. In the end, this could be all played out behind the scenes and nothing happens. Many probable wars have been averted this way where the main players gave concessions on the hush-hush. Such as Kennedy pledging not to attack Cuba...and removing the nukes out of Turkey permanently, a pledge, despite not being written down, has been honored by every President since.

Asian names are in the opposite order of European names. Kim is the family name, which correspond to Smith if we were talking about John Smith.
