Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore raised eyebrows when he revealed his basic command of the Russian language. A video that has been gaining momentum online features Moore saying the Russian equivalent of how are you.

During an interview with a Guardian reporter, Moore was told that the former US president Ronald Reagan said once that Russia was the focus of evil in the modern world. The outspoken Republican Senate candidate was compelled to reply: You could say that very well about America, couldnt you? We promote a lot of bad things, you know?

How they infiltrated and took over a lot of websites and were getting a foothold in politics. There was one I used to look at during the bush years, which was anti bush. 20. Lots of reasons to despise Roy Moore, but...

While there is no doubt that Roy Moore is a racist pedophilic scumbag, speaking a few words of Russian is just not a additional reason to despise him. What he said, basically: "Hello, how are you today." Is what I learned in my first day of Russian 101 that I took, nearly 49 years ago, when I started college. I remember this, even though I only took 2 semesters and never used Russian after that.

This stuff makes DUers sound like those xenophobes who start screaming "Use English!" at anyone who is here in the US and doesn't speak English well or at all, including tourists.
