Trump has spent almost one-third of presidency at one of his properties: report

Source: The Hill

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 12/25/17 09:10 AM EST

President Trump has spent nearly one-third of his time in office at one of his company's properties, according to a Wall Street Journal review of the president's travel.

According to the review, during Trump's first year in office, he spent more than 100 days at one his properties, including nearly 40 days at his golf course in Bedminster, N.J.

He was also at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for about 40 days, according to the Journal. Trump is known to frequently travel to his properties.

He spent Thanksgiving weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort and arrived at the Florida resort on Friday for the Christmas holiday.

is interfering with his social life. If not for his heavy debt to Russia, I doubt he would have run. Well, that plus the trips to his palaces are now free paid for by dumb taxpayers. He is a disgrace. No CLASS, little intelligence, no "couth" and slimy as hell. Perfect gop candidate for the WH. They must be so proud to have this fat, disgusting, repulsive clown as their leader.

And telling people what to do like a CEO does where they can express a whim and say "make it happen" and people do.

I've read that most normal Presidents are heavily scheduled often through a 10-12 hour day depending what's happening, and are always "on call" even when on vacation; they're still being briefed daily.

I predicted 45 would think being President was a 9-5 job that ends on a business schedule. I was wrong. We're not even getting that - he's likely never worked a full 8 hour day in his life, and he thinks it's a "whenever I feel like it or need to sign something or do my stupid campaign rally" job.

This is clear from the ass-kissing sessions where everyone takes turns telling him how much "hard work" he did for things like tax reform when he clearly hasn't even read the entire damn thing either since it's more extensive than five bullet points on a page.

that exceeds what "W" did during his disastrous 8 years "clearing brush" in Texas. It seems to me that I'd read he spent about 25% of his 8 years away on "break."

Well, at least he'd never criticized his predecessor by saying that he'd "stay in the capitol and get work done."

What a f**kin' liar!

Just not traveling back and forth 3-4 weekends a month! They usually take a week or two every 6-8 months.

He tries to justify this by saying Mar-a-Lago is the "Southern White House" but that is a full crock of it.

but I'm furious about this hypocritical liar:

*complained about Obama "golfing" and stating that he'd stay in DC to "get things done"

*a money-making scheme for the "Trump" empire. Look how much they charge for the support staff plus the Secret Service (golf carts, rooms in places that he owns, etc).

Robbery that is condoned by the fraud republicans!

A very blatant and unrepentant hypocritical display from 45, to criticize Obama for so long and then do the exact same things he accused him of. Not just with vacations.

They could rent close by and just send agents to guard him in shifts. They could buy their own golf carts to use. They could order in food from decent outside restaurants while at work. If any of this costs more, I don't care. As long as Trump doesn't get a penny from us. Once he's gone they could auction off the golf carts for charity. I'm sure they'll make a bundle.

and doesn't take a salary. And Obama spent way more time on vacation than Trump.

I can't deal with Trump's cult. It's terrifying people can seriously believe this crap. I always viewed cults as small, fringe groups of nut cases like Heaven's Gate.

I never imagined almost 40% of this country could be such an insane, dangerous cult.
