Federal prosecutors in New York requested Kushner Cos. records on Deutsche Bank loan

Federal prosecutors have requested records related to a $285 million loan that Deutsche Bank gave Jared Kushner’s family real estate company one month before Election Day, the company confirmed this week.

The records were sought by prosecutors in Brooklyn and do not appear related to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

5. Since when do banks not require repayment of a loan?

The loan was not listed on Kushner’s financial disclosure report, because he did not have “a present obligation to repay the loan,” his attorneys have said.

7. That is standard-operating-procedure to move money from A to B without declaring it as income

A loan here, a loan there. A few $100's or a few $100,000's or more.

Write it with an IOU and you don't have to declare it as income, for the time being. And most non-bank loans don't really get declared.

Now, when the loan is forgiven, you "SHOULD" declare it. But with all of these finaglers, they've shopped the IOU around so the feds with their constricted resources really can't follow.

Maybe bitcoin would allow the powers-that-be to follow the money. But maybe the PTB don't want that level of scrutiny.

Personally, I find it amazing that so many news outlets (ProPublica, Guardian, etc.) have been able to "follow the money" when the US federal agencies can't. While I think the constricted resources are part of it, I also think that the agencies are getting more politicized. Strange when the current resident said he was going to "Drain the swamp". Was it just to fill it with his own swamp-critters?

Huge debt is a disqualification for White House security clearance. It offers someone too much leverage over you if you're in a sensitive position with access to sensitive information, conversations, and plans if there's an enormous debt that they can call in. Hopefully he'll finally be escorted off of the premises with a bankers box.
