Graham: I no longer think Trump is a race-baiting religious bigot

Source: The Hill

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), on Monday, said he no longer believes President Trump is a "xenophobic, race-baiting religious bigot," despite using those words to describe Trump during the 2016 campaign.

"He ran against 17 Republicans and crushed us all. He ran against the Clinton machine and won. So all I can say is you can say anything you want to say about the guy. I said he was a xenophobic, race-baiting, religious bigot. I ran out of things to say. He won,” Graham said on “The View.”

When pressed by the show's hosts whether he still thought that about Trump, Graham responded: "No, I don't think he's a xenophobic, race-baiting, religious bigot — as president."

During the 2016 campaign, Graham called Trump “a kook,” “crazy” and “unfit for office.” He backed Jeb Bush during the Republican primary and said he ultimately cast his vote for independent Evan McMullin.

They'll all actually do time in jail.

Forfeit all their ill-gotten income/gifts.

Spend some time with the rest of the US population that they have done everything they can to demonize, penalize.

And I hope that they and their families (well, 1 or 2 generations) will not live down this infamy.

Graham is totally missing the point and is not representing Congress as he should, in protecting this country...his own words:

"I want to help him where I can because there's a lot on this man's plate, and we should all want to help him," Graham said last month on CBS."

Again, Graham is insisting on helping someone who has lied from the start, has lied about everything...is a Pus** grabber, and a disgusting human being...

Just because there's a (seemingly) bigger POS in the WH doesn't make the others any better than they ever were.

He's shifted his rhetoric multiple times throughout the past year. He knows he needs Trump for the GOP to acomplish many of their legislative goals, but will shift back to insults and disdain when he doesn't want to appear too close. It's the McCain fake maverick playbook.

Though blackmail wouldn't shock me. These things aren't mutually exclusive either.

He adopted her after both of their parents died, their mother first and then their father 15 months later! He was 22 and she was 13...

That's not saying he didn't take some "campaign" money from an illegal donor, his sister could be used as a way to control him, too!
