White House blasts judge blocking end of DACA, calling it 'outrageous'

Source: The Hill

BY REBECCA SAVRANSKY - 01/10/18 08:49 AM EST

The White House called a judge's decision to temporarily block President Trump's ending of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program "outrageous" on Wednesday, hours after the move introduced a new complication to talks on immigration between the administration and Congress.

"We find this decision to be outrageous, especially in light of the President's successful bipartisan meeting with House and Senate members at the White House on the same day," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.

Trump also tweeted about the decision shortly after the White House statement.

Trump held a long meeting at the White House Cabinet Room on Tuesday with lawmakers from both parties. In an unusual move, much of the meeting was held before the cameras, and Trump stunned Republicans and Democrats alike by offering support for a comprehensive immigration deal.

Trump did not know what "clean bill" meant and agreed to have a "clean DACA" bill in the meeting, then reneged later after someone explained what clean bill means.

respect this fake regime has for the independence of the judiciary. No idea or care for the importance...truly something I thought I would never see.

And the judges are supposed to take into account a confused political meeting that occurred yesterday?...judges do not write hundred page judgements in Twitter Time...not to mention total irrelevance.

Wasn't the same fake administration whining about judges using Shitlets Tweet Turds on immigration and Muslims in particular against him? Kind of a double standard to now DEMAND same judiciary to consider televised political meetings?!

government works does he. Holding a meeting doesn't have any impact on how a judge rules. He's such a dumbass.

He knows if he attacks it, he can bend it even if he can't break it. He will eventually pack the courts and not have to worry about these decisions.
