Trump: Wall Street sell-off would be 'big mistake'

Source: The Hill

BY SYLVAN LANE - 02/07/18 10:16 AM EST

President Trump said traders selling stocks are making a "big mistake" on Wednesday, his first comments about the wild gyrations in markets that have cut into stock market gains in his presidency.

Trump said the economy is strong, and those trading stocks will regret their actions.

The Dow Jones industrial average was up nearly 200 points in morning trading.

It fell more than 2,000 points from midday Thursday to Tuesday morning before gaining by the end of Tuesday.

Let's see how this turns out. Hopefully we'll have a Democratic President who can un-do Trump's mess.

And, what would that idiot know.

Had the inheritance just been invested in a broad based index strategy, globally, the total net worth would be 2.5x of what was claimed, with no shafting, no BKO, no shady deals, and no Russians.

Oh, by the way, during that period, the lifestyle could have been supported by an after tax income of 400X the median household pretax income the entire 40+years.

And that is the source of this "sage" advice?
