Republicans are running against Hillary Clinton (Again.)

WASHINGTON — Republicans are running attack ads blasting Hillary Clinton as an out-of-touch elitist. Fox News prime time is blanketed with reports about Clinton investigations. Trump 2020 campaign rallies in key presidential swing states feature "lock her up!" chants.

If you follow campaign news, it may seem like the 2016 campaign never ended. And in at least one way for some Republicans, it hasn't: The GOP has gone negative on Clinton for more than 25 years — and they don't think her absence from the ballot is reason enough to stop now.

So far, at least three Republican candidates or groups have released ads over the past week slamming Clinton, in what amounts to an early midterms election-year beta test of her continued utility in firing up the conservative base.

.......................................

Some 17 months after Election Day 2016, Fox News is still devotes roughly equal time to Trump and Clinton, according to an analysis by the liberal media watchdog Media Matters — despite the fact that one is now a private citizen, and the other president of the United States.

Unfortunately she continues to give them plenty to run against. The “deplorables” thing was a huge unforced error. It pushed some of my undecided family members over the edge. They have since realized the error of their ways. The live in a deep red state so it probably didn’t matter. It was a mistake to lump all Trump voters in the same pile. It continues to be.

How about we concentrate on the multitude of voters who were disenfranchised by Repugs dirty tricks? There are a lot more of them than those hopeless, irredeemable shit-for-brains.

The deplorables will never reward kind words and good deeds. They're irredeemable; that's why they're deplorable.

Meanwhile...

Minority voters, not Trump voters, are key to Dem victory. Why else is GOP suppressing their votes?

I think Democrats should hold the high ground, while also telling the truth. I see Democrats online often getting down in the mud and fighting on the same level as the people they oppose.

I've never liked name calling. I will be very critical of Trump, but I avoid calling him anything but Trump. (I will say he is a "liar" though, as a statement of fact) I don't want to be like the right-wingers, who dish out the nastiest insults they can, rather than have a real debate or discussion.

It is easier to want to fight back, give as good as you get, but that generally gets you no where, other than sinking to their level.

"... racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it." The other half are pretty deplorable, too, because they'll vote for such a person. Saying you're not a racist because you really just don't give a shit about other people's problems, regardless of race, is a defense that only goes so far.

Repubs have put a lot of time and effort into building up lies against Hillary so apparently they aren't about to let go of all that. They certainly can't run on real issues so they're stoking their base with more Hillary bullshit. It's all they have.

Of course he’d do a better job than Trump. FFS you could stick a pin in the Seattle phone book and pick a better President than Trump. “Does not need to go to federal prison” is enough of a qualification.

But in addition to being smart and hard working, Schneiderman has no problem tearing into Trump.

Look no further than Sessions appointment of Huber from Utah to hint hint ,look at how the FBI used their Offices to further FISA Court inquiries and how that implied fake story of cover ups.

Huber has not been non partisan in Utah, he travels in the hard Right Circle of the Rethugs .

Said this last year, the Rethugs were going to rerun the 2016 campaign. If you follow any of the Local Right Wing Media, especially on their online operations, anti Hillary stories and ads are on their Page One some where.
