2. The flag was attached to someone's truck with a dog in it.

Someone poured water on the fire and no harm.

I feel the charges are excessive, but destroying someone else's property is not freedom of speech.

The owner was in a restaurant and her dog was in the cab of the truck. Fortunately the fire was put out with no injury to the dog. Per the article linked in the OP.

That is beyond freedom of speech.

It was criminal, and it was dangerous, even if it was a sincere conviction.

My guess she offends people more than her flag does.

I also think she may have been one of the inlanders that invade us on holiday weekends. The dunes are used for 4 wheeling. It is legal and also dangerous.

attached to his entry fence. Someone took the flag off the
wood flag pole and kicked in his fence. Still has the crossed
guns plaque..'we don't give warning shots" or some such nonsense.
