President Donald Trump is poised to pardon Scooter J. Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, according to sources familiar with the presidents thinking.
The president has already signed off on the pardon, which is something he has been considering for several months, sources told ABC News.
Libby was convicted of lying to the FBI and obstruction of justice.
Could Trump be sending a message to his cronies.

(1,142 posts)The word is since Comey was involved in the Scooter Libby investigation, and it also involved a special prosecutor that Trump sees this as his chance to use this pardon as a barb pointed back at Comey.

Thats why I will not celebrate until Mueller has the whole pack of them in jail.

(11,258 posts)All pukes do things because they can, not because it is right or wrong, just because they can. With no thought of damage to even their own. Power rules over common sense. They always overstep and think the people will just take it. That worked for a while but now most of us are on to their game. Blue wave coming.
