Kellyanne Conway slams Comey: 'This guy swung an election'

President Donald Trump's senior counselor, Kellyanne Conway, slammed former FBI Director James Comey, suggesting an announcement he made about Hillary Clinton's emails during the 2016 election may have been a deciding factor.

"This guy swung an election," Conway told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on "Good Morning America" today. “He thought the wrong person would win.”

Conway, who appeared on "GMA" in the wake of the airing of Comey's exclusive interview with Stephanopoulos on Sunday night, was apparently referring to Comey's comments about his decision to announce in a letter to Congress the reopening of the Clinton email probe on Oct. 28, 2016, 11 days before the Nov. 8 election.

"The president is very confounded the that this person is always able to divert the spotlight to him," Conway said. "He has a very deft way of making things about him."

I do think he was part of their stealing the election. I even think he might have done it on purpose since he didn't treat the real evidence about drumpf the same as he did the fake Clinton news. I will not buy his book, will not contribute to him., also will not bash him in public forums at all. He was not fired due to Clinton, the drumpf admin. folks celebrated his actions. He was truly fired due to Russia and is right in what he's saying about that. Humans are complex and just because he was wrong about reopening the email investigation, and he totally was, doesn't mean he's not right that drumpf is a total liar and unfit to be president.

The major aspect of the relationship between Comey and Trump boils down to Trumps attempt to stop an investigation by getting Comey to swear allegiance to him and agree to stop abandon the investigation of General Flynn. Not accomplishing that when he continued to pursued the Russian investigation he fired him. As to the concern about his response to his opinion, and that is what it is, concerning the POSSIBILITY of Trump involvement with prostitutes I could not agree with his assessment more. Given Trumps history of inappropriate sexual behavior I believe it is very possibly true also given the fact of his glaring refusal to be critical of Putin.

is that maybe 35% of viewers who watched the Comey interview were shocked by the revelations because they were new to them; they hadn't heard them before or perhaps hadn't a clue. It will take time to open their minds, those whose minds can be opened.
