Bill making it legal to ban gays & lesbians from adopting passes in Oklahoma

Source: LGBTQ Nation

By Alex Bollinger · Friday, April 27, 2018

The Oklahoma House passed a bill yesterday that would allow adoption and foster care agencies to discriminate against parents whose lives violate the “sincerely held religious beliefs” of the agency.

The “Adoption Protection Act” passed the GOP-controlled house in a 60-26 vote. A similar bill has already passed the Oklahoma Senate.

Supporters of the bill stressed that the state’s foster care system is “overloaded.”

While most people would think this is an argument in favor of maximizing the number of available parents to take children in, supporters say that religious agencies will take their ball and go home instead of placing kids in decent homes that violate the agencies’ “sincerely held religious beliefs.”

And what's worse, is all those people pissed off about the teachers not getting paid, including many teachers, will overlook it in order to make sure us nasty homos don't get no kids! They will vote against their own interests if it is to keep down another group.

and a family because they are bigots and or "closet cases." I have found that by
not having sex with other men my "gay problem" is solved. BTW my son was
babysat by 2 wonderful lesbians in my neighborhood and they were the best of
the best and they were very protective of my son who is now 23, a father, 3 classes
away from his degree, and is going to get married soon.

They must need to increase the number kids adopted by unsuitable straight couples or let the kids age out of the system.
