The EU Just Made a Dramatic Move to Protect Bees

Source: Science Alert

If the bees die, we all die.

FIONA MACDONALD 28 APR 2018
The European Union has announced it will ban the world's most widely used insecticides within 6 months, due to the damage they're doing to vulnerable bee populations.

Neonicotinoids will be banned from use in all fields by the end of 2018, and will only be allowed to be used in closed greenhouses.

The ban was voted in by the EU member nations on Friday, in an effort to protect pollinators.

Bees and other pollinating insects are vital to our survival as they pollinate roughly three quarters of the world's food crops - including coffee and chocolate.

We cancel regulations trying to protest our world for the sake of the almighty dollar, while the EU works to protect the environment and the climate.

this country has sunk so low, so quickly, in such a precipitous manner. Scary people playing at being leaders, 'sacking Rome' as it were Democrats/concerned citizens will find a way to save our bees, I hope. I'll vote, yet strategy is everything. Interesting midterms coming up. I'm going to try to save our bees and repudiate hate in any form.
