Trump Attacks 'Fake News' NBC Over Cohen Wiretap Story

Donald Trump has seized on an NBC News error that led it to publish a report wrongly claiming that federal authorities had wiretapped Michael Cohen, Trump’s longtime personal attorney. NBC quickly corrected its error and posted on the original story that: “The monitoring of Cohen’s phones was limited to a log of calls, known as a pen register, not a wiretap where investigators can actually listen to calls.” But Trump attacked the network, claiming its error as evidence of “fake news” being written to undermine him. He tweeted: “NBC NEWS is wrong again! They cite ‘sources’ which are constantly wrong. Problem is, like so many others, the sources probably don’t exist, they are fabricated, fiction! NBC, my former home with the Apprentice, is now as bad as Fake News CNN. Sad!”

Like any sane, rational human being with any kind of brain in his/her head believes anything from Breitbart, Alex Jones, or FOX Entertainment - after all, Fox is hardly what would be construed as a “news” network.
What a fool. He would be best off not opening his mouth at all, deleting his stupid Twitter account, and finding a mouthpiece to do his talking.
And they want this guy to sit down in a room without a chaperone with Kim Jong Un. Lord help us all.
Kevin Nicholson, a “convert to conservatism” running in WI against Tammy Baldwin claimed that Democrats are destroying the Constitution, and questioned the “cognitive thought processes” of veterans who are Democrats; Milwaukee Journal, May 4. That’s as assinine as listening to “John Miller” talk about fake news from the White House. Republicans, while destroying our air, water, land, women’s rights, education, international standing and basic freedom bitch about Democrats destroying the Constitution while at the same time destroying our very country by taking it back a hundred years in time. How ludicrous.
Unfortunately, I don’t see a Kumbaya solution to this mess, and quite frankly, I fear it will get worse (hard to believe) before it gets better.
I, for one, am sick and tired of Republicans thinking that they own this country and the Constitution. Remember, David Dennison was not popularly elected. There are more of us than them. Let us unite on the common ground of promoting the good that leadership can do, rather than suffering under what poor leadership can destroy.
