Blunt: Trump following campaign promises 'more important' than misstatements
Source: CNN
Missouri GOP Sen. Roy Blunt said Sunday that President Donald Trump's efforts to enact the agenda he campaigned on are more important than falsehoods he utters to the public. "The more important thing, I would suggest, is doing what you say you're going to do when you're elected president," Blunt said on CNN's "State of the Union." Blunt also defended Trump by saying he makes himself available regularly to the press and answers impromptu questions, for example, while en route to Air Force One -- despite Trump not holding a full solo press conference in more than a year. "The way the President communicates, whether he intends to mislead people or just doesn't have all the facts in his mind at the time, he is very accessible to the press," Blunt said. 11. If Melania believed number 5 she is dumber than she looks
Ivana threw him out for not only banging Marla Maples repeatedly, but for bringing her along on a family vacation that Ivana was also on.
So, he married Marla Maples...who threw him out for screwing Melania Knauss repeatedly. He therefore married Melania... When Donald Trump walks into your house, your fish stop swimming, your dog goes into hiding and your cat applies for political asylum at a pit bull farm. If Melania really believed Trump wasn't going to stop trying to screw every woman who's stupid enough to get within 100 feet of him, there's something seriously wrong with her. |

30. I think she never wanted him to be President.
When he was a media blowhard and reality TV star, she could sit on the couch in her penthouse all day and then jet off to the Riviera if the mood struck her. She had zero responsibilities. The nanny will look after the children (and I don't just mean Barron; I don't think the older Trump boys can tie their shoes yet).
But now? Oh dear, she's the FLOTUS and things are expected of her. She has to do things other than hang on his arm and look pretty? This isn't what she signed up for. That's why she looks utterly miserable, I think. His misbegotten ambition robbed her of her pampered lifestyle, not to mention the daily humiliation of the news cycle. She's probably praying for a bullet to end it all, and I don't mean one aimed at her. Probably got her mourning dress all picked out, fitted, and ready to go. |

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that she's hoping for a bullet to end her suffering. I don't mean one aimed at her, though.

36. That's because.....
she rarely opens her mouth (unlike her hubby, who can't close his) and she doesn't really do anything. It looks like she's getting a little more involved now, but who knows how involved she'll really be. I'm sure Little Donnie wants to keep her on a very short leash, and I mean that literally. If it weren't for the negative optics, I'm sure he'd keep her on a collar and leash 24/7. Most republicans wouldn't mind that, not even most of the republican women, but the rest of the world would really frown on that.

29. I am a big believer in the saying
"It's not what you say, it's what you do" EXCEPT lying is doing something. And it is doing something that is VERY wrong. And anyone, especially one who holds the job of keeping another job in check, should never, ever act like or say it is okay to lie. Especially when it is the government speaking to the people. They don't like the people to lie to them.
