Trump Holds Firm Amid North Korea Threat to Bail on Summit, Says Denuclearization is Still a Must

In his latest White House press spray, President Donald Trump reacted to North Korea’s threat to withdraw from the upcoming denuclearization summit in Singapore.

Yesterday, the Kim Jong Un regime threatened to cut off talk with South Korea in response their ongoing defensive exercises and coordination with the U.S. military. The rogue nation has since announced that they will abandon meetings with Trump if they are asked to give up their nuclear weapons.

Reporters frantically tried to ask Trump questions about this while he spoke with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the Oval Office today. The president wouldn’t say much before the press pool was forced out, but he said “we’ll see what happens” with the summit, and he affirmed that he’s still insisting on North Korean denuclearization.

He gets to prove he's a tough dude if NK pulls back because then he will have his excuse that KJU will never negotiate, will never give up his nuclear arms, and so can begin invasion plans in a much stronger position for that route now that the whole hippy peace approach was tried (no thanks to him) and failed.
