Donald Trump has threatened Kim Jong-un with the same fate as Muammar Gaddafi if the North Korean leader “doesn’t make a deal” on his nuclear weapons programme.
The US president issued the threat at t he White House when he was asked about the recent suggestion by his national security adviser, John Bolton, that the “Libyan model” be a template for dealing with North Korea at a summit between Trump and Kim planned for 12 June in Singapore.
The model Bolton was referring to was Gaddafi’s agreement in December 2003 to surrender his embryonic nuclear weapons programme, which included allowing his uranium centrifuges to be shipped out to the US.
But Trump appeared to be unaware of that agreement, and interpreted the “Libyan model” to mean the 2011 Nato intervention in Libya in support of an insurrection, which ultimately led to Gaddafi’s murder at the hands of rebels in Tripoli.

Kim is sitting there with thousands of artillery pieces aim directly at Seoul, just a few miles away from the DMZ and trump is threatening him with what happen to Libya.

He just doesn't seem to get that Kim just has to say the word and Seoul is toast from traditional weapons, and maybe even our west coast with his nukes.

And he and warmonger Bolton seem to forget that Russia and China are right there in the region and are not going to allow the US to come in and rage war in their backyard without a response.

So now trump dump is threaten war in NK and Iran—just great. He's mimicking Hitler all right. Hitler's down fall was fight on the two fronts of Russia and Europe.

But it's not going to come to that. He's getting played by Kim and the reality of the situation and is going to have to back down and be humiliated. And the US will lose even further prestige as the orange pustule fucks things up again.

On the other hand, Kim's regime is as murderous as they come, but one reason he doesn't get invaded and overthrown is that he does have nukes (as well as conventional weapons capable of taking out citizens of Seoul and US Army troops stationed in South Korea).

Oh, and Kim also sees how Iran is treated by Trump despite having made a deal like the one Trump wants with Kim.
