Melania Trump attends first official event in 24 days

Washington (CNN)First lady Melania Trump, who had not been seen publicly for the past 24 days, attended an official White House event with President Donald Trump Monday afternoon.

The event, a private East Room reception for more than 40 Gold Star military families, was not in and of itself an unusual activity for the first lady of the United States. However, the first lady's absence made her appearance all the more newsworthy.
In a statement Monday night, Trump said it was a privilege to welcome the military families to the White House, and she thanked them and military members more broadly for their service.

"To all those who have lost loved ones in service to our country, our nation grieves with you," her statement read. "It is a solemn reminder that we, the American people, are able to live as freely as we do because of the selfless sacrifices of our men and women in uniform. We remain indebted to each of them and we honor them today, together, with their families."

9. I sorta like Melania

This last week all the "Where's Melania?" stuff is kind of like Infowars.

She seems basically likable except for the disgusting man she married. I have friends I like and can't explain their gross spouses....I can separate. She's really doing the absolute minimum to support him she's not exactly on Hannity every night spewing talking points.

She could be a medical miracle. The first person to ever have their kidneys located on their chest. I'd like to see if there are any bleeding wounds around her ears and jawline. I know how much that disgusts her hubby.

this was a semi-public event, where everything was coordinated to the nth degree so as she can appear as "normal" as possible.

the WH probably began to panic and offered all sorts of bribes to her to get her to attend.

None of this can just be passed off. I find it a tad bit strange that his daughter with Maples was at Camp David as well as the other kids--basically EVERYONE except Melania. Donnie making his "Melania and myself have agreed to go our separate ways" speech to all of them??

Her missing for 24 days and then no press allowed last night is very telling. My guess is this is all but over pending the official announcement.
