Poll: Dems hold 10-point lead over GOP on generic House ballot
Source: The Hill
Democrats hold a 10-point lead over the GOP on the generic House ballot, according to a new poll from NBC News and The Wall Street Journal.
The poll, released Thursday, found that 50 percent of respondents said they want Democrats to take control of Congress, compared to the 40 percent who said they want Republicans to maintain control.
The Democrats' lead is 3 points higher than April, when the same poll found 47 percent of voters said they would prefer a Democrat-controlled Congress. Those in favor of GOP leadership held at 40 percent.

But...but pundits told me the blue wave is shrinking.
Hacks.

What happens each Tuesday now,
Will be what happens in november.
It will be hate and loathing of the maggot that will
Fuel the sweep in Nov.
We are antsy to let our opinion be known.

(27,639 posts)If we follow the unfortunately-familiar narrative of Democrats sitting out the midterms, we'll all be wondering "what happened?" once again.

We need an exasperation level by early November. If we reach that level of anger to throw the bums out, I doubt last minute shenanigans will sway very much.

(10,578 posts)It isn't much of a swing district though. Trump won it 55 to 40. But I guess it would have been a little closer had it not been for Comey. Places like Ohio, Iowa and the 2nd Cong. District of Maine would have been a lot close. And we would have won Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona and the 2nd Cong. District of Nebraska. Probably Georgia too. Comey, along with Putin, really swung that election.
Anyway, here is an article on the race:
