Fox & Friends had an interview with Rudy Giuliani on Friday, where they discussed the report from the Justice Department Inspector General in order to collectively blast the FBI, James Comey, and the corrupt Robert Mueller investigation.
Yesterdays review from Michael Horowitz more-or-less determined that even though the former FBI director didnt compromise the Hillary Clinton investigation or act with political bias, he still raised questions about the bureaus integrity by not following standard protocol. As Giuliani looked at it, he called it a complete and absolute explanation of why Comey had to be fired, and he also ripped Peter Strzok and Lisa Page for their texts about wanting to stop Donald Trump from becoming president. [It] should become an investigation of Comey. Giuliani said. Those FBI agents who should be fired today and imprisoned next week.
After calling the email investigation a total fix for Clinton, Giuliani went on in the interview to say that Strzoks involvement with that and Muellers probe shows the FBI is rife with corruption. He also made sure to take a leaf out of Trumps book by complaining about the 13 angry Democrats working on Muellers team (the special counsel is a Republican).
Lets investigate the investigators
Lets stop it and get rid of all the agents doing the Mueller investigation, the Trump attorney proposed. The reality is somebody like [Strzok] shouldnt be working at the FBI, he has emotional problems and probably needs valium or something like that.

UPDATE:
Giuliani: Trump shouldn't talk to Mueller because investigation is 'corrupt'

Rudy Giuliani, the president's personal attorney, said Friday that Donald Trump should not be subjected to an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller because a watchdog review of the FBI's handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation exposed the special counsel's separate probe as a "corrupt investigation."
"There should not be an investigation," the former New York mayor, in an interview with the hosts of "Fox and Friends," said of Mueller's probe into coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election. "Mueller should now make a report, everything he has got. No interview of the president. He shouldn't be bothered with it. Why would he get interviewed in a corrupt investigation?"
In the Justice Department's Office of the Inspector General report released Thursday, DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz and his staff found that five FBI employees assigned to the Clinton email case exchanged texts or instant messages that were hostile to Trump or supported Clinton.
In one previously unreleased exchange, agent Peter Strzok who was deeply involved in both the Clinton email investigation and Mueller's separate probe of Russian election interference seemed to vow to block Trump from winning.

(11,631 posts)If texting someone that you want to stop Trump from being president is an imprison-able offense... where are we Nicaragua?

(11,631 posts)Its like Stephen Colbert said last night, this conspiracy against Trump was so sneaky and underhanded that they didn't do anything!

(22,803 posts)They should have known better. And look at the ammunition they gave the right wing. They should have confined their comments to face-to-face meetings. Very stupid to do it by email during work hours. Unprofessional and really stupid.

(11,631 posts)Fire-able offense maybe. I was responding to hyperbole from Giuliani that they should be in prison.

If they had done their texts on their private cell phones no one would have ever seen them.

(951 posts)FBI agents should be medicated and imprisoned for texting negatively about trump, meanwhile hinting that the likes of cohen and manafort should be pardoned for all of their treasonous fuckery?!?
It should be obvious to anyone with a brain that he is just a rodeo clown. None of what he is saying will be taken seriously at a legal standpoint, and doesn't even make a lick of sense. its just noise and distraction.
