Source: BBC

This is fantastic. I will take my environmental wins whenever they come. Congratulations to Unesco for their part. Hope they share their "visionary" steps with others. The oceans can use all the help they can get.

It was beautiful there. It has been probably 20 years since I have been there but they were pretty careful about a lot of things. Good for them.

There was an evident effort to do the right thing for the reef and the country. While we saw lots of litter and trash in rural areas on the mainland, San Pedro was making a concerted effort to move forward with environmental protections. Great news!
