Miller was resisting giving any testimony. CNN also has information up that says Stone will not testify against Trump under any circumstances.

This could get interesting. Miller apparently does not want to go to jail for being uncooperative with the investigation. Is Stone willing to go to jail?

9. I can't currently watch the video, but I remember him being held in contempt earlier this month.

A hearing transcript from June 18 shows Miller was subpoenaed for information about Stone as well as key figures in the 2016 hacking of the Democratic National Committee, and the public release of Democrats' emails during the campaign. According to that transcript, the subpoena seeks information from Miller about WikiLeaks and Assange. WikiLeaks published large volumes of hacked Democrats' emails during the campaign.

The subpoena also seeks information about Guccifer 2.0 and DCLeaks. Investigators say both were online fronts invented by Russian intelligence operatives to spread the hacked documents. DCLeaks was a website that posted hacked emails of current and former U.S. officials and political aides, while Guccifer 2.0 claimed to be a Romanian hacker.

Miller had asked for "some grant of immunity" regarding financial transactions involving political action committees for which he assisted Stone, according to Alicia Dearn, an attorney for Miller.

On that issue, Miller "would be asserting" his Fifth Amendment right to refuse to answer questions, Dearn said.

eighteen second video. It gave details about his refusing to testify, his work for Stone, and his intention to assert his Fifth Amendment rights. It did not give details about the information sought, such as Guccifer, or DCLeaks.

I could not figure out what type of immunity he has been granted. I think they should throw him in jail for contempt if he does not testify to what they want.

I agree with malcolm nance that the next round of indictments will probably be stone, julian assange/Wikileaks, and/or members of the trump campaign data team. I also think things are going to start moving much faster now. They wanted it wrapped up soon... my advice, be careful what you wish for.

but it was too late because it literally went "viral" across all sorts of small news sources. I expect the headline was actually in reference to Drumpf's CFO guy getting immunity vs Stone's aide (although the latter might be something that could be pursued).

It now says 'Roger Stone aide resisting Robert Mueller'. It must have been an error at their end, with everything that was going. Or wishful thinking!
