Burt Reynolds, the mustachioed megastar who first strutted on screen more than half a century ago, died Thursday, according to his agent Todd Eisner.

He was 82.

The Georgia native, whose easy-going charms and handsome looks drew prominent roles in films such as "Smokey and the Bandit" and "Boogie Nights," suffered a cardiac arrest, Eisner said.

I still remember this. This was a brave move by him. I was sad that it didn't work out with Sally Field. He loved her, I think. I think she commented years later that he wasn't husband material (she didn't use those words, tho). I knew what she meant. He wasn't reliably monogamous.

He was apparently a good guy and stayed friends with prior wives & girlfriends (except for Loni Anderson). Except he was a player and couldn't help it.

R.I.P.

They have that picture in the women's bathroom with a big heart over his genitals. Whenever a woman would peek under the heart, the entire bar would know that she was checking to see what was under that heart.

If you are in Milwaukee, It is a fun place to visit with a bunch of spy related stuff.
